About the Presenters:

T. Scott Gilligan serves as NFDA general counsel and represents NFDA in matters dealing with the FTC Funeral Rule. Scott, whose family has been in funeral service for more than 120 years in Cincinnati, is an attorney at Gilligan Law Offices and has written the latest update of Mortuary Law, a textbook widely used in mortuary colleges.

Patricia Poss is Senior Attorney and the Federal Trade Commission’s Funeral Rule Coordinator.
