In Your Funeral Home

Idea Guide
Home Resources Remembering A Life Idea Guide In Your Funeral Home

In Your Funeral Home

Have the Talk of a Lifetime Conversation Cards

  • Use Have the Talk of a Lifetime Conversation Cards to get to know a family during the preplanning process.
  • Funerals often prove an uncertain time for younger children in the immediate family. Use the kids’ version of the cards to get to know the children and to encourage them to contribute to the discussion.
  • Give each family a deck of the cards to use at home.

Consumer Brochures

  • Make Remembering A Life consumer brochures available in your funeral home to better educate families about embalming, viewing, etc.
  • Use the brochures as talking points when discussing relevant topics with families.

Remembering A Life Water Bottles

  • Give each family member a filled Remembering A Life water bottle during the arrangement conference and invite them to keep it. Remind them of the importance of staying hydrated during this difficult time.

Remembering A Life Legacy Films

  • Show one or more of the Remembering A Life legacy films during an arrangement conference – particularly if the family is considering not holding a funeral – to help demonstrate the impact people have on those around them and the value of honoring their significance via a meaningful tribute.
  • If possible and appropriate, play some or all of the films in your funeral home in an appropriate area.
